is a transfer between two accounts. You create a transfer transaction when you move money from one account to another
account
(see how to Create a Transfer transaction).Note: Transfer transactions are not shown in the Income / Expense report.
- transaction
is a transfer to the account with the specified Income type/category. You create an income transaction when
you receive money from anywhere to the account (see how to
Create an Income transaction).

Note: this amount will be shown in the Cost chart and will be used for calculating Gain and Loss.
- transaction is a money transfer to any of your accounts from selling securities. This amount can exclude all bank or service fees to show your real income after selling securities (see how to create a Sell transaction), but you can create separate transactions for those fees.
Note: this amount of real income will be used for calculating Gain and Loss.
- transaction is a transfer to your account the amount of dividends received for some securities (see how to create a Dividend transaction).
Note: all amounts of dividend income will be used for calculating Gain and Loss.
