Add a new category

To add a new category, follow next steps:

  1. Click on the Menu button: Menu
  2. On the Menu tab, click the Settings item: Settings item
  3. In the Settings dialog, select the Categories page: Categories page
  4. To add a new income type/category, follow next steps:
    1. Click on the New button.
    2. In the Income dialog, enter the name of the new income type/category in the Name field: New Income Type
    3. Select from the auto-complete list or enter a new group name in the Group field, if needed.
    4. Click the Create button: New Income Type Create
  5. To add a new expense type/category, follow next steps:
    1. Select the Expense tab: New Expense Type
    2. Click on the New button.
    3. In the Expense dialog, enter the name of the new expense type/category in the Name field: New Expense Type Create
    4. Select from the auto-complete list or enter a new group name in the Group field, if needed: Expense Type Group
    5. Click the Create button: Expense Type Create
