Accounts balance report
This report:
- shows you the amounts of all your accounts for the selected period. You can see changes of any your account in time
- accumulates amounts by Groups of accounts, so you can see total amounts of every Group
- shows amounts for Groups of accounts in Balance Currency because Groups can contain accounts
with different currencies.
So, if it is needed, you can change the Balance Currency (see how to change Balance Currency for more details).
To create the Accounts report, follow next steps:
- Click on the Reports tab:
- Click on the Accounts item:
Note: by default, the Accounts report is created for the period This year, but you can change the period later:
In this report, you can see:
- The report period:
- Assets / Liabilities history chart that shows the changes of Assets and Liabilities for the selected
period:
- Different shades of green show Assets – the total amount for the account groups with strictly positive balance (> 0);
- Different shades of red show Liabilities – the total amount for the account groups with strictly negative balance (< 0);
- Different shades of orange show the total amount for the account groups with positive/negative balance for the selected period (sometimes they are Assets, other times they are Liabilities);
- The line chart shows the total amount for all accounts.
